KOEX?

KOEX is a street art project exploring the theme of coexistence – how we live together across differences. The artworks are displayed on art walls at Jens Bjørneboes plass in Kristiansand, and are free and open to the public.

​

At the heart of KOEX is the meeting between artist and non-artist. Through conversations and creative collaboration, non-artists contribute stories and lived experiences, while artists respond visually. Both perspectives shape the final works.

During the artistic process input was gathered at IOGT Sammensenteret, in dialogue with individuals from the local substance use community, and staff from Portalen – Kirkens Bymisjon also contributed as artists and producers.
